Historic Dallas
Discover Downtown Dallas. Start the day with a stack of cushy pancakes, or perhaps a breakfast burrito at the Dream Café. They've got some great fresh brewed coffee here too. Then head on over the Dealey Plaza, where the infamous Kennedy assassination took place. The Sixth Floor Museum, located in the Texas School Book Depository, highlights JFK's life, political career and legacy. Truly a must see for all Dallas visitors.

Extravagant Shopping
Next on the agenda is the Neiman Marcus department store. This place is high-class, and even if you're not going to shop, you should at least take a walk through. There's a museum on the fifth floors that's worth a gander as well.

For lunch
, try the Seventeen Seventeen Restaurant, a culinary counterpart of the Dallas Museum of Art. Choose from an elegant contemporary menu including gourmet salads, or delicious fish, chicken, beef or pork dishes. The menu even rotates with exhibits. Afterwards, head to the Dallas Museum of Art.  Featured here is a vast assortment of pre-Columbian artifacts, American silver pieces from the 19th and 20th centuries and the most unusual For lunch, try the Seventeen Seventeen Restaurant, a culinary counterpart of the Dallas Museum of Art.Wendy & Emery Reves Collection. In the mid 80's a 16,000 square-foot wing was opened to accommodate this remarkable collection of over 1,400 works including paintings, sculptures, iron and bronze and silver pieces, unique furniture and textiles.

One-of-a-Kind Sculptures
Also worth a visit is the Nasher Sculpture Center just next door. It's extensive collection of modern sculptures offers some most intriguing pieces.

For dinner, a couple of choice restaurants to ponder are Fuse, offering a unique mix of Asian and Texas cuisine, and the Stephan Pyles Restaurant, serving "New Millennium Southern Cuisine."
